About this Book

This excerpt is from my children’s book, Asmara’s Exciting Journey, which follows the vibrant imagination of six-year-old Asmara (pronounced Az-mar-a) as she embarks on her first trip to the local park. The idea for this story began during a conversation with a friend, who suggested I write about her children, Asmara and Judah.

The setting draws inspiration from my own childhood park; a place where my imagination roamed free and every visit sparked new stories and adventures. Through this book, my hope is to encourage children to stay curious, embrace their creativity, and craft their own adventures.
